So, here it is. AOL seems to be testing the idea that the Internet is a Service as opposed to an Open Network. They have blocked email's that contain information that is in direct opposition to their business interests.

While their are seemingly obvious legal implications relative to not having a court order to spy on the entire country, from network neutrality angle, is this bahavior illegal or simply really bad business practice?

These are great example of Net-Neutrality issues. One side (the one I'm on) wants this to be illegal, the other side want's this to be a bad business decision. This is exactly the sort of behavior that the addendum to this bill (and this bill ) were designed to eliminate.
